“Synesius of Cyrene - Hymn 6 to Christ”
Synesius, who had studied Greek philosophy under Hypatia, became of bishop of Ptolemais in the early fifth century.
His writings include 155 Letters, Calvitii Encomium, Catastasis, Constitutio Synesii, De Dione, De dono astrolabii, De insomniis, De Providentia, De Regno, Dio Synesii, vel De Ipsius Vitae Instituto, Homilies, Hymns. They can be read in the original Greek with a translation alongside on the subscription version of the Early Church Texts website.
